In September 2023, InterVarsity Press published the Chrysostom Society’s next collection of work called A Radiant Birth: Advent Readings for a Bright Season. In this book, edited by society members Leslie Leyland Fields and Paul J. Willis and with a foreword by Richard Foster, the Chrysostom Society reflects on Advent and Christmastide through 42 different readings divided into 3 parts. Part I is on the theme “Jesus, Born in Bethlehem.” Part II is on the theme “Jesus, Born in Us.” And Part III explores “Jesus in Us for the World.”

Chrysostom will host a few different book launch readings across the country, including:

• Friday, December 1, 2023, 7pm PST at the Downing House in Denver, CO
• Monday, December 4, 2023, 4pm PST at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA
• Saturday, December 9 in Texas
