Emilie completed Small Surrenders: a Lenten Journey, published in 2008. She worked on a memoir of her friendship with the Pulitzer-prizewinning author, John Kennedy Toole. She was also a contributor to God with Us, a book of reflections on Advent and the Christmas season.
